The Bridge of Don School system is monitored so that students can see how the system is operating. The information is collected electronically and is distributed around the school on the school's intranet, and the data is available to all students throughout the City of Aberdeen.

This is a 20,000 sq.ft installation of Riomay® DF120 solar collectors on the roof of the communal pool at the Bridge of Don Academy, just north of the City of Aberdeen. The project was opened by Scotland's Second Minister, the Right Honourable Jim Wallace MSP. The system is expected to displace about 150,000 kW/h of gas on an annual basis.
